Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 October 2026
By using venue.fan (the "Site") or any related apps, APIs, or services (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Your use of the Service is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data.
1. The Service
venue.fan is a multi-tenant platform for creators, artists, and venues ("Creators") to host pay-per-view live streams and on-demand (VOD) events, sell tickets, receive tips, and interact with viewers ("Viewers") via chat and related features. venue.fan facilitates the Service and acts as a disclosed agent for Creators when collecting ticket and tip payments. Creators are solely responsible for event pricing, scheduling, content quality, and legal compliance of their content ("Creator Content").
2. Accounts
You may browse public pages without an account. To purchase tickets, tip, stream, or manage a tenant you must sign in (email access code). You must be at least 16 (and have parental consent where required), keep your login credentials confidential, and are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account is compromised.
3. Viewer licence and ticket access
Subject to these Terms and any ticket you purchase, venue.fan grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to view Creator Content only through the Service. You may not copy, redistribute, rebroadcast, download for redistribution, sublicense, or use Creator Content for advertising or any public performance outside the Service.
Unless a Creator states otherwise for a specific event, ticket access (including live viewing and any available VOD rewatch) lasts for about thirty (30) days from the later of purchase or the event’s start, as shown on your ticket confirmation and in the product. Access ends when that window expires, when a refund is completed, or when we or the Creator lawfully revoke access for breach of these Terms.
4. Creator content and licence
By uploading or livestreaming Creator Content you grant venue.fan a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable licence to host, transmit, display, perform, reproduce, format, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing the Service, until the content is removed (subject to residual technical copies and any sub-licences that cannot be withdrawn). You warrant you own or control all rights needed, that depicted individuals have consented, and that content complies with law and these Terms. You indemnify venue.fan against claims arising from your Creator Content.
5. Music
You may only include music you are entitled to use. You must not use commercially released third-party recordings unless separately authorised. Provide track metadata when requested. venue.fan is not responsible for performing-rights or publisher royalties owed by you.
6. Transactions, merchant roles, fees, and tips
Contract for ticket or tip. Each ticket or tip purchase is a contract between the Viewer and the Creator. venue.fan is not the seller of the Creator’s event content; we provide the platform and payment collection as the Creator’s disclosed commercial agent, unless we expressly state otherwise for a particular fee.
Merchant of record / payment collection. Card and wallet payments are processed by our payment provider (for example Stripe) on our instructions. The Creator is the principal for ticket price and tip amounts. venue.fan may appear on statements or settlement flows as the collecting platform.
Platform commission. venue.fan charges Creators a platform commission (and any other Creator-facing fees) as disclosed in the organizer dashboard or Creator agreement. Commission is deducted before net proceeds are credited to the Creator wallet.
Booking fee. Where shown at checkout, a booking fee is a platform fee charged to the Viewer and retained by venue.fan (it is not Creator ticket revenue and is not credited to the Creator wallet). Booking fees form part of the total charged to the Viewer and are included in refunds of the related ticket order when that order is refunded through the Service.
Tips. Tips are generally non-refundable, including after chargebacks are lost, except where required by law.
Taxes. Amounts may include applicable taxes as shown at checkout. Creators remain responsible for their own tax obligations on amounts they receive.
7. Refunds, chargebacks, and access after refund
Ticket refunds. Ticket refunds may be issued (a) automatically where our in-product refund policy allows (for example limited watch time and within a defined window after purchase or the event), (b) after Creator or venue.fan review of a refund request, or (c) where required by applicable law (including UK consumer law where it applies). No refund is due once ticketed content has been substantially consumed, except where required by law or where our automatic policy still allows a refund.
Tips. Tips are not refundable through the Service except where required by law.
Effect of refund. When a ticket order is refunded, watch access for that ticket ends. Refunded amounts for tickets generally include ticket net plus any booking fee charged on that order, as processed through our payment provider.
Chargebacks and disputes. If a Viewer or their bank raises a chargeback, payment dispute, or reclaim, venue.fan may investigate and respond. Any amount reversed or held, plus related payment-network or processor fees and reasonable administrative costs, are incurred by the Creator (tenant). We may debit the Creator wallet for those amounts.
Insufficient balance. If the Creator wallet cannot cover refunds, chargebacks, fees, or adjustments, the shortfall remains a debt owed by the Creator to venue.fan on demand. We may withhold or set off future payouts, suspend withdrawals, limit new sales, and/or suspend the tenant until the shortfall is paid.
8. Creator payouts and invoices
Net proceeds (gross attributable ticket and tip receipts minus platform commission, Creator-facing fees, taxes we are instructed to withhold or report, refunds, chargebacks, and other adjustments) are credited to the Creator wallet per the dashboard.
Availability. Funds may take up to seven (7) days to become withdrawable; we aim to make them available as quickly as twenty-four (24) hours where practicable. Withdrawals remain subject to identity and compliance checks, minimums, currency rules, and processing times.
Invoice required. Before we pay out a withdrawal, the Creator must provide venue.fan with a valid invoice for the withdrawal amount (including VAT where the Creator is VAT-registered), in a form and to an address we reasonably specify. We may delay or refuse payout until a satisfactory invoice is received. Incorrect or incomplete invoices do not restart any guaranteed timeline.
Taxes. Creators are responsible for their own taxes and for any filings arising from invoices they issue.
9. Acceptable use
You must not: harass others; upload illegal, infringing, or harmful content; attempt to bypass paywalls or geo/access controls; scrape or abuse the Service; interfere with streaming or security; or misrepresent your identity. We may remove content, suspend accounts, withhold payouts, or end streams for violations.
10. Embeds and third-party sites
Creators may embed events on their own sites subject to these Terms. venue.fan is not responsible for third-party websites.
11. Availability
The Service depends on internet connectivity and third-party infrastructure (including cloud video and payment providers). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Temporary stream interruptions do not automatically entitle Viewers to a refund; refund eligibility is governed by section 7 and applicable law.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. venue.fan is not liable for Creator Content, Viewer/Creator disputes, or indirect/consequential loss. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation).
13. Changes
We may update these Terms by posting a new version on the Site. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK you may also bring proceedings in your local courts where mandatory law allows.
15. Contact
Questions about these Terms: support via the in-app support chat or the contact details published on venue.fan.
